This European-made Hobby XL model Beaver Workbench is designed for woodworkers who have a good sized workspace and are looking for a very strong bench. The Hobby and Hobby XL are the same bench, in two different lengths.

Made of high quality European beech hardwood, this bench offers durability and a long service life. The large top is 1 1/4″ thick, which adds to its weight and working stability. A 3.5” thick apron features two cast iron Acme screw vises with twin steel support bars.

Product Details

The wood jaws of the two vises are 14” wide for excellent stability in holding your work piece.

The 73” x 19” work area includes 30, ¾” bench dog holes and has a large shelf underneath for holding tools. There are four round steel dogs included with the bench.

The vises will add an extra 6.25” to the length and width of the top in the closed position. The tabletop surface sits at a comfortable working height of 34” and the bench itself weighs 125 lbs.

This bench comes unfinished for the new owner to apply their desired finish.
